The boat series suggests taking a mode of transportation from here to there. These are boats of energy, which is represented by the density of color and the abstract configuration of the sticks. The intention is that that energy gives the boat movement. The lense on top allows one to focalize that energy, to make it more real. The stainless steel armatures allow the boat to float above the surface while being reflected as a piece of granite.
